Here’s all you need to know about Horizon Forbidden West, which was just released on PC on March 21st, from system requirements to what to look forward to from the game.
Horizon Forbidden West was also a PS exclusive game released in 2022 and blew up instantly as it was the sequel to Zero Dawn. The story continues where it left off in the previous game and builds from there.

The minimum PC requirements for this game are as follows:
CPU Intel Core i7-6900K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
RAM: 8 GB
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 470
And Windows 10 or above
But the Recommended requirements are as follows:
CPU: Intel Core i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
RAM: 16 GB
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT
And Windows 10 or above
If you just built a new rig or just a hardcore PC gamer, this game is the best for you. This is bold to say but the PS did not do justice to this game in terms of graphics as this game boasts one of the best graphics and there are many ways in which you can customise to get the best out of your graphics card.
You play as Aloy, Raised as an outcast in the Nora tribe, Aloy’s journey is marked by her relentless pursuit of answers about her own origins and the mysteries of the Old Ones, the advanced civilization that perished centuries ago. Gifted with a keen intellect and a natural affinity for technology, she wields a variety of weapons and tools, including her trusty spear and the versatile Focus device that allows her to scan her surroundings and uncover hidden secrets.
The Combat is so much smoother and feels easy on the PC as there is no need to aim using joysticks or learn how to change your inventory on a controller as it is complicated on the PS and the game is definitely punishing if you are a few seconds late.
On the PC though, you won’t face any of these problems as it can be pretty easy to aim on the mouse and you can scroll through your inventory pretty quickly as well
The game also has a pretty good skill tree where you can customize your play style according to the tree as it has a vast selection of skills which can help you throughout the game. Stealth can be a great option if you want to end things quickly without being at any risk,
There are many combat options as well that you need to check them yourself as I want to keep this as spoiler-free as possible.
This game shines in the sound department as every single sound that takes place can be heard and the sound while combat gives one the thrill and the action as if you are Aloy herself and is immersed in the world of Horizon. Oh and did I forget to mention that this game has won many awards just for the sound.
This game is well worth it and you need to check this game out as the gameplay, the graphics and the sound design speak for itself
